About the owners of Southern Exposure Restaurant

Joani Babcock and Sarah McColman began their restaurant in 2004 with a dream to provide a comfortable, homey atmosphere for people to enjoy an excellent meal with friendly service. Ms. Babcock, Southern Exposure’s head chef, originally from Washington state, studied in Charelston and Charlotte where she learned to cook with southern style. The restaurant’s name refers to the south-facing building itself as well as the food and the attitude of this charming business.
